Not only are we fans of Craft Beer but we also like to mix things up with some great cocktails at times. In this article, we’re taking a look at some of the best bars for cocktails in Phnom Penh.
Elbow Room
A stone’s throw from Bassac Lane, Elbow Room offers a dimly-lit environment for a great night out and a few cocktails. The bar has a beautiful decor with a few impressive murals on the walls. This cosy lounge makes completely unique cocktails with popcorn and other interesting ingredients and flavours. They’re often using local spirits like Samai Rum and Seekers Gin.
Their menu is fantastic with a few carefully designed cocktails with very detailed descriptions. They have $4 happy hours Monday to Wednesday every week.
Le Boutier
Le Boutier has some highly trained bartenders that know exactly what they’re doing. This place occasionally hosts guest bartenders too, a very fun concept that gives some extra flair to their already impressive cocktail menu. Le Boutier is also very close to Elbow Room so you could easily kill two birds with one stone and visit them both on the same evening.
Hub Street Cocktails
If you want cocktails but don’t want to spend 7-8 dollars a glass then this is the place for you. Not only does Hub offer affordable cocktails, of course, they’re also delicious. At Hub you can get great cocktails for an affordable price in a no-frills setting. What more can you ask for? Definitely one of the best spots for cocktails in Phnom Penh. They also serve Cambodian Craft Beer from Cerevisia Craft Brewhouse.
Elephant Bar at Raffles
Elephant Bar is located on top Raffles Hotel Le Royal. This bar doesn’t solely do cocktails but they still do them really well. If you’re a fan of Gin this place will surely be for you. With well over 100 different Gins they surely have the largest selection in Cambodia of this godly spirit.
Honourable Mentions
We’d also like to give a shoutout to Hangar 44 and Sora Sky Bar that also provides great atmosphere and cocktails. Especially Sora Sky Bar, situated on the top of the Rosewood Hotel, in Vattanac Capital, the tallest building in Phnom Penh, probably has the best view in Phnom Penh.
